Custom Guest Houses

“Guest House” can mean a lot of things. To some, it may mean just that: a private place for guests to stay while visiting you in the Hill Country. It can also mean a place for your retiring parent or parents to live. It may even be a place for your “home/office” – a private getaway for you to conduct your home-based business. No matter the use, we can help you put it together and build it for you – from blank sheet of paper to a reality.

Custom Foreman’s House

Another niche construction need is your Foreman’s house. Of course, this can be very similar to a guest or small house – it depends on the needs of your foreman. As with our other services, we will be glad to sit down with you to develop the plan and scope of your project. The picture about is a dog trot house. With two separate living areas.

Garage / Storage / Barn

We can also build you that extra storage space (we all seem to always need more storage!). Need a Garage, Barn – we can help. Our same skills used to build new homes can be applied just as easily to provide your extra storage space – whether for storing “stuff”, cars, trucks or your equipment. We can sit down with you and help develop the plan to get you that additional storage. The following are several examples of our storage buildings, barns and garages.

A remodeling project that added this living space where a carport used to be. This addition has 10′ walls of HardiPanel “Stucco” finish with cedar trim and a Standing Seam galvalume roof.

Combination, multi-use building: tractor shed and storage on this side and two horse stalls and a feed room on the other side. Exterior is red Grandrib metal with a Galvalume V-crimp roof.

12′ x 20′ workshop (including the 4′ front porch). Western Red Cedar siding is stained dark brown and the roof is V-crimp galvalume. Skirting is of the old-fashioned “rock-faced” galvanized metal. The small flakes in the picture is snow – not a grainy picture!

Three cabins built for a Bed & Breakfast. The cabins have western red cedar siding and galvanized, V-crimp roofs.

Another outdoor cooking and eating pavilion. This one is built on a slab with western red cedar posts and trim and HardiPlank lap siding. Roof is Red V-crimp. Storage and a bathroom is in the enclosed end.

View of the same pavilion from the other end – with its’ matching pump house.
